  • • Interaction Metadata: Click coordinates, text input, and page titles.
  • • URLs: The addresses of the pages where steps are recorded.

2. Data Handling and Processing

When you capture a guide, the initial recording is processed locally on your device. Once you choose to save the guide, it is transmitted to our secure hosted platform at snapsteps.nrkgo.com.

Security Note: No editing logic or third-party editing libraries are included within the extension package itself. This ensures the extension remains lightweight.

3. Data Storage and Retention

While active recordings are held in temporary local storage during the capture process, finalized guides and associated screenshots are stored securely on our encrypted servers. Your data is protected using industry-standard AES-256 encryption at rest.
